HUNTING ACCIDENT

PARADISE TWP.: A 27-year-old man was struck in the head by falling shot Wednesday evening on his Esbenshade Road property in an accidental hunting incident, state police Trooper Nicholas J. Cortese said. The shot came from a neighbor, 31-year-old Virgil S. Morningstar, who was dove hunting on a property in the 200 block of Rohrer Mill Road. The 27-year-old had a “very minor” injury and was not transported to the hospital, Cortese said. He was not expected to press charges.
