PA: Deer hunter injured by an arrow in Wyncote, Cheltenham officials respond

The Cheltenham Township Police Department announced that officers, firefighters, and EMS officials responded to the 7700 block of Green Valley Road in Wyncote for a report of an injured deer hunter at 3:48pm today.
According to their post, a 48 year-old male was shot with an arrow by another hunter.
“The victim was transported to an area Trauma Center and is expected to survive,” the post said. “The hunter who shot the arrow remained on scene, summoned Emergency Services, and is cooperating with the investigation.”
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Pennsylvania Game Commission, which has assumed primary responsibility for the incident’s investigation, police said.
