On April 28, deputies responded to a call of a turkey hunter that had been shot while hunting in Wayne National Forest, in Union Township.
The victim had turkey decoys set up and was calling turkeys, when he was shot from behind. The victim received multiple wounds from the shot pellets that were fired, all of which appeared to be superficial.
