OH: Hunter convicted for suspicious harvest

A person was convicted of hunting without a deer permit after two State Wildlife Officers recently investigated a suspicious white-tailed deer harvest.

The investigation was done by Lucas Wildman (Clermont County) and Jacob Losekamp (Warren County). The pair found that a hunter purchased a deer permit after the deer was harvested.

Officials said the person was issued a summons and pleaded no contest, they paided $250 in fines and a hair over $130 in court costs.
