A home in Rush was struck by two rounds from a hunter’s gun Sunday afternoon.
No one was injured.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home on Rush West Rush Road around 12:30 p.m. for the report of hunters firing behind the property.
The caller reported that a house had been hit.
Officers from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation are investigating the incident and have identified a suspect. The investigation is continuing.
