Police ID Bristol Hunting Accident Victim

Ontario County, N.Y. – The man who died while hunting in the Town of Bristol
Saturday morning has been identified as Eric L. Docteur, 48, from Victor.
State Police say Docteur fell out of his tree stand off of Hundred Acre Way
and called 911.
He was reportedly semi-conscious a short time later, when his family and
emergency responders found him in a heavily wooded area, ¾ of a mile away
from his father in law’s house.
Docteur was transported to FF Thompson Hospital, where he was pronounced
dead.
State Police say the investigation into his death continues Sunday.
