BELLMONT, N.Y. (AP) — Daniel Haskell, 56, planned to go hunting last Thursday morning in the Franklin County town of Bellmont.
When Haskell got out of his truck and reached back inside to get his 20-gauge shotgun, the weapon discharged, hitting him in the abdomen.
Haskell is listed in critical condition at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
