Italy, N.Y. — Daniel Leach, 59, was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital with a non-life-threatening wound after being accidentally shot by a member of his hunting party Monday in the woods off Italy Valley Road in the Town of Italy, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Department.
