Oneida County deputies have identified two men who were killed in an early Saturday morning fire at an Adirondacks hunting camp.

The men are Joseph M. Funk, 64, of Gansevoort, Saratoga County, and Thomas Dingmon, 78, of Middle Grove, Saratoga County.

They were found around 1:20 a.m. at a small camp on Nichols Mills Road in the town of Forestport after two other men staying at the camp escaped the fire and ran for help. Deputies said the men drove about eight miles on a four wheeler to a nearby home to get assistance.
