ELY, Nevada — Judge Gary Fairman sentenced Joseph Holiday, 35, last week to up to three years’ probation and ordered him to pay $4,000 in fines. He also suspended his hunting privileges for two years for illegal possession of a big game animal after he shot an elk in an area where he did not have a hunting tag.
Holiday was ordered to pay $1,000 to White Pine County, $2,000 to the Nevada Department of Wildlife and $1,000 to Operation Game Thief.
