A NSW man has been shot in what is believed to be a hunting accident.
Two men, aged 20 and 47, and a 15-year-old boy were in a ute on a property at Thalgarrah, near Armidale, when the 20-year-old driver was accidentally shot in the right shoulder on Friday night.
The man suffered non-life threatening injuries but was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for specialist treatment. Detectives have established a crime scene at the property and seized a firearm.
