LONG HILL TWP. – Salvatore Collucio, 44, of Staten Island, N.Y., was issued a summons for hunting with a loaded firearm within 450 feet of the nearest residence, at 5:35 p.m., near Heritage Road, Millington .
A resident reported hearing gun shots and yelling coming from a nearby wooded area.
Police measured the distance utilizing a laser and found Collucio had been more than 100 feet closer than the law allows with his muzzle loading rifle.
