NJ: Hunter who fell from tree stand in Franklin taken to hospital, police say

FRANKLIN — A hunter who fell out of a tree stand Saturday afternoon and suffered a compound fracture to his leg has been taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by emergency responders, according to Sgt. Philip Rizzo, of the Franklin Township Police.

Officers and squad members responded to 19 Golf View Drive at about 1:23 p.m. to locate a hunter they believe was suffering from injuries, Rizzo said.
