77-Year-Old Accidentally Shot In Goffstown Hunting Accident | Bedford, NH Patch

New Hampshire Fish and Game were notified of a 77-year-old man brought to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester with a gunshot wound Sunday.
The patient had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound while hunting turkeys with a friend in Goffstown around 9:30 a.m.
The victim, accompanied by his friend, walked out of the woods on his own, and drove himself to the hospital, where a call was made to notify law enforcement of the situation.
The Goffstown Police Department assisted conservation officers in investigating this incident. Names and additional information are being withheld pending an ongoing investigation.
New Hampshire Fish and Game reminded all hunters always to be sure of their target and beyond, to help prevent unfortunate situations like this, and to always follow the 10 commandments of firearm safety.
