WISDOM – On Sunday afternoon, a deceased bow hunter was located by a Beaverhead Search and Rescue ground team. The hunter was later identified as Robert Carter, Jr.
Carter was expected to return from hunting on Sunday, Sept. 20. His wife became concerned when he had not contacted her via cell phone or Facebook since the night of Sept. 16.
Carter was hunting in Tie Creek, a few miles west of the Big Hole Battle Field National Park.
