PEMISCOT COUNTY, MO – Two men were arrested in Missouri after they illegally captured more than 400 turtles.
James Floyd Winstead, 42, and Steve D. Hotchkiss, 53, face receiving stolen property charges.
Conservationists found 431 turtles in drop-type turtle traps reportedly set by Winstead and Hotchkiss.
Conservationists set free all of the turtles in the traps.
