SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Bow season for deer is about a month away, but it looks like someone is already hunting for deer inside Springfield city limits.
Dale and Susan Gant saw a deer with an arrow sticking out of it’s shoulder.
He says they see a lot of deer in their back yard but Sunday morning they noticed one of the deer, which Susan calls “Buttons”, had been shot with an arrow, even though the area is clearly marked, “no hunting.”
“Doggone-it!” says Gant, “Let’s get something done for the wildlife and protect the neighbors too.”
