A hunter was seriously injured after his brother-in-law accidentally shot him in the leg on the outskirts of Detroit Lakes over the weekend.
Donald Dorff, 57, was life flighted out of Detroit Lakes Saturday evening.
He and his brother-in-law, Dennis Mahoney, were attempting to unload a pistol when it malfunctioned.
The bullet went through Dorff’s leg and out the other side.
