A 61-year-old Little Falls man was injured Friday, Oct. 3, after he fell from a tree while hunting in Morrison County.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at 12:40 p.m. in Leigh Township, north of Hillman. According to the report, Robert Hebler was archery hunting on the property approximately 20 feet up in a tree. While climbing up the tree, Hebler lost his balance and fell to the ground.

Hebler was transported by Onamia Ambulance to Mille Lacs Health System hospital in Onamia with unknown injuries.

The Hillman Area Rescue Team, North Memorial Health Air Care and Onamia Ambulance assisted at the scene.
