Stray bullet rips through St. Clair home

November 21, 2010

ST. CLAIR COUNTY (WJRT) — (11/21/10) — Hunting season is well underway, but one St. Clair county family said the action came a little too close to home.

Tina Furca lives in Memphis, which is about 40 miles east of Lapeer.

Her house is no where near a designated hunting area, yet a bullet ripped through her home as her toddler and mother watched TV.

The bullet left a hole the size of a quarter through the living room.

Tina’s husband saw two men in the empty lot behind the house.

Police are investigating and whomever fired the shot could face charges.
