MD: Man rescued after hunting fall along Monocacy

Patrick Wade Knight, 50, from Knoxville was rescued from the Monocacy River in Frederick County on Saturday evening after falling from a tree stand while bow hunting.

Knight fell about 20 feet from the stand to the banks of a shallow area of the river. He was knocked unconscious.

Knight was taken by ambulance to Suburban Hospital in Montgomery County in serious condition.
