Wildlife agents cited four people for alleged hunting violations
Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents cited three men and a juvenile in Natchitoches Parish on Dec. 9, 2009 for several alleged wildlife violations.
Ralph W. Mobley, Jr., 32, of Natchitoches, Billy H. Merrell, 48, William G. Merrell, 22, and a 16-year-old, all of Lena, were cited following an investigation into possible illegal hunting activities near Chopin, LDWF reported.
The charges followed in investigation into allegations that William Merrell and Mobley had been hunting deer at night, LDWF said.
All three men were cited for possession of illegally taken deer and failing to comply with deer tagging requirements, as well as numerous other separate charges against each. The juvenile was cited for failing to comply with deer tagging rules and regulations, according to LDWF.
