La. men claim false residency to hunt in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa – Three Louisiana men, including one from Jennings, were charged by state authorities here after claiming false residency to illegally hunt deer.

Michael Talley, 49, was charged with not having the proper non-resident hunting licenses. According to Iowa Department of Natural Resources [DNR] Conservation Officer Joe Fourdyce, state residents may easily obtain hunting licenses, but non-residents are restricted.
