Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents cited two men for alleged duck hunting violations in Cameron Parish last week.

Brandon Click, 44, of Orange, Texas, and Philip Hatton, 45, of Kountze, Texas, were cited for taking over the limit of pintail ducks and intentional concealment of wildlife, according to LDWF.

Patrolling agents on the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge said they observed the two men with five ducks on the bow of their boat, and when agents stopped the men, they found seven pintail ducks, five of which were intentionally hidden in the boat.

LDWF reminds hunters the daily limit for pintails is one pintail per licensed hunter, putting the subjects five over the daily bag limit. Agents seized the seven pintails and donated them to a local charity.
