William T. Methvin, 34, of Boyce, pleaded guilty to hunting deer at night, taking deer out of season and no hunting license.
Judge Patricia Koch sentenced Methvin to serve 30 days in the parish jail with one-year probation. He was fined $717, including court costs.
His hunting privileges were suspended for one year.
