LOUISVILLE, Ky — A Mount Washington, Kentucky woman is facing charges after police said she killed a deer before going to obtain a hunting license.
According to police, Dawn McGee shot and killed a deer and, moments later, went to obtain a hunting permit from a Jefferson County Walmart.
During the investigation, police said McGee admitted to shooting the deer without a proper license. She also did not have a hunter education course completed.
