LAGRANGE CO., Ind. (WANE) Indiana conservation officers are investigating a report of illegal deer hunting involving a 15-year-old boy.

According to the DNR, a concerned hunter reported that he saw another hunter shoot a deer with a gun and then drag it behind a home on County Road 1100 East.

A 15-year-old boy at the home admitted that he shot the deer with a muzzleloader, didn’t fill out a temporary transportation tag, and also shot two antlerless deer during the special youth season and didn’t deliver those deer to a state deer check station or check the deer in online within 48 hours of time of kill.
