DES MOINES, Iowa – 76-year-old Bob Abbas was hit just above the right eye with a shotgun pellet at around 3 p.m. Saturday. Abbas was hunting pheasants with three others about three miles east of Faulkner.
Abbas was hit during a shot taken at a pheasant. He was transported to Franklin General Hospital where the pellet was removed and he was released.
