AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accidental shooting that took place Friday night.
Deputies were told that an adult had been in the yard with a firearm after hearing what he thought was a coyote. There was an accidental discharge and the five-year-old was grazed in the head by the bullet. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
