John F. Alford, 63, was hunting hogs on private property off of State Road
24 near Rosewood Saturday evening with a 17-year-old Cedar Key resident.
The juvenile watched several hogs cross a narrow road west of him and fired once at the hogs with a 16-gauge shotgun loaded with number 1 buckshot, and ended up killing Alford.
