FL: Florida man fined $5,300 for hunting violations

Jordan K. Richards, 25, of Eastland, has been ordered to spend time on probation and pay a $5,300 fine for hunting-related violations.

Richards was seen on surveillance footage entering Keystone State Park in Derry Township after dark on Oct. 18 carrying a crossbow and a spotlight and wearing camouflage, according to court documents.

He pleaded guilty Tuesday to five counts of illegally hunting big game and was sentenced to three years of intermediate punishment followed by 18 months of probation. He was sentenced to serve three months of home electronic monitoring to begin within the next year.
