BARTOW, Fl – While fishing along the Peace River in Bartow, Austin Welch, 18, didn’t skip a beat when he saw his 11-year old sister Crystal Droze fall in the river. The teen went right in after her.
Austin went under the water as Crystal clung to some grass on the riverbank as they yelled for help.
Austin Welch’s body was recovered Sunday afternoon.
