According to the Delaware Department of Natural Resources Police, David V.
Novotny was charged with eight counts of possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, two counts of possessing an unlawfully killed antlered deer, one count of possessing an unlawfully killed antlerless deer, one count of removing antlered deer parts prior to registering, one count of failure to check an antlered deer within 24 hours and one count of failure to attach a tag to an antlered deer.
Novotny was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of
$55,000 secured bond.
