Hunter shot in leg near Buckman Springs
EAST COUNTY — A hunter was flown to a hospital after suffering an apparent accidental gun shot wound near Buckman Springs Sunday morning, sheriff’s officials said.
About 9 a.m., a man reported his friend had shot himself in the leg while hunting near Interstate 8 and Buckman Springs Road.
