A hunter was shot and killed Sunday morning in a hunting accident in Summit Valley.
Rigoberto Mendoza, 52, was hunting deer with two friends when he was shot in the abdomen by Salvador Mendoza Madrigal, 56.
The victim told the shooter through two-way radio there was a deer nearby; the shooter went through some brush, saw movement, and shot Mendoza with a 30-06 hunting rifle.
