A 52-year-old hunter was located early Tuesday at a Klawock clinic, where he was being evaluated for injury and hypothermia.
Around 6:50 p.m. Monday, troopers received report that James Demmert, of Hydaburg, was nearly three hours overdue after he’d left to go hunting near Big Salt Lake, north of Klawock on Prince of Wales Island.
Tuesday morning troopers were notified that Demmert had made his way out of the woods and had gone to the Klawock clinic.
