Hunter dies from self-inflicted gunshot while removing his gun from a shoulder holster

DILLINGHAM, Alaska (KTUU) Troopers say no foul play is suspected after a 65-year-old hunter reportedly shot himself near Dillingham, Alaska.

According to the AST daily dispatch, Brian Leslie Heinrichsen died after he shot himself in the chest while removing his .454 caliber Casull from a shoulder holster.

Troopers say Heinrichsen had been hunting near Amanka Lake with his friend on Friday.
