Two people were arrested last week by a Department of Natural Resources officer on hunting violations.
Joseph Michael Roberts, 28, 935 Strickland Circle, Colbert, was charged with hunting without a license, hunting without big game license, hunting with illegal weapon, hunting without permission, hunting without orange and hunting without hunter safety.
Cory Steven Welch, 23, 3092 Cherokee Road, Comer, was charged with hunting with an unlawful weapon, receipt, possession or transfer of a firearm by a convicted felon or felony first offender, hunting without a license, hunting without a big game license, hunting without permission and hunting without orange.
