Two local men were arrested Monday, Jan. 21, after they reportedly were caught hunting with bait in a Walton County swamp.
An officer with the state Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Resources Division allegedly found the two hunters near whole kernel corn in the swamp as bait for ducks, contrary to state hunting regulations. The two reportedly had already bagged five wood ducks, which were confiscated.
