CRISP COUNTY, GA — A four year veteran of the Crisp County Sheriff’s Deputy has been terminated after being arrested for hunting at night.
David Smith was charged with hunting deer at night, hunting under the influence of alcohol, hunting from a public road, hunting from a motor vehicle and hunting without permission. Another person, 34-year-old Holly Butterworth, was also charged in the incident and is charged with hunting deer at night, hunting from a public road, hunting from a motor vehicle and hunting without permission.
