GA: 2 cited in Cook Co. for hunting violations

DNR agents have cited two people after they said a video showed two men stomping an opossum to death in Cook County.

Agents said they cited Dalton Joiner and Zane McDowell for hunting out of season, hunting from a public road and hunting from a vehicle.

It comes after a video from June 25 was posted on social media.

Agents said the men were not charged with animal abuse.

They said that is reserved for domestic animals, like dogs and cats.
