The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission received a tip about two men hunting from the back of a truck in a closed area.
FWC officers Chris Araujo and Chris Thurkettle located and stopped the truck, and upon inspection, they discovered a nine-point buck and a spike, both in velvet, under blood-stained blanket.
Both men were booked in the Collier County jail for taking deer out of season and hunting in an unauthorized area.
