A Felton man was arrested last month for illegally hunting from his vehicle with a firearm prohibited because of his criminal status, officials said.

Christian M. Killen, 47, a convicted felon, was charged Nov. 23 with possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and possession of ammunition by a person prohibited – both felony offenses – carrying a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, hunting from a motor vehicle, hunting without a license and possession of unlawfully taken game, said Sgt. Gregory Rhodes, spokesman for the state Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement.
