EAST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — A former East Haven police officer charged in a federal racial profiling investigation has been arrested again for alleged illegal hunting and trespassing.
David Cari was one of four East Haven officers arrested by federal agents last year for allegedly abusing and violating the rights of Latinos. An official with the Regional Water Authority said that Cari illegally hunted deer and trespassed on the water authority’s property around the Lake Saltonstall Reservoir.
