A 23-year-old man was killed in an illegal hunting incident in Wheeler County, Georgia, leading to the arrest of a 57-year-old man on multiple charges.

ALAMO, Ga. —
A 23-year-old man was shot and killed during illegal hunting activity in Wheeler County, Georgia, early Saturday morning.
Georgia game wardens said the shooting occurred near Spring Hill Road in Alamo around 3:30 a.m.

Investigators said five adults were involved in illegal hunting activity.
Authorities arrested Howard Hartley, 57, of Glenwood, on charges including felony involuntary manslaughter, hunting deer at night, and hunting from a vehicle and public road.
