A Nevada County man was killed in a hunting accident on November 10.
Nevada County deputies were sent to the scene of a hunting accident. When they arrived, they found the body of James Vines near a deer stand about a quarter mile west of the county road. An investigation showed Vines had apparently fallen while attempting to climb his deer stand.
