Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited a 24-year-old Homer man for failure to submit his 2013-14 permit hunt report to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

Wildlife Troopers cited a 31-year-old Homer man for obstructing or hindering lawful trapping, third-degree theft and fifth-degree criminal mischief.

Troopers said that in January two trappers contacted them to report their traps were stolen on trap lines outside Anchor Point. Both trappers were properly licensed and trapping lawfully on state land. Troopers allege an investigation showed the man removed five traps in early January and brought them to his home and the next weekend went back to the area and set off and discarded another trap set by one of the trappers in the same location as where the earlier traps had been taken.
