Aberdeen man dies in hunting-related accident

A 32-year-old Aberdeen man died in Tripp County during the weekend.

The incident is still under investigation, but Tripp County Sheriff Shawn Pettit confirmed the death happened in a hunting-related accident on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 16.

The victim, Matthew Weidner, was from the Winner area but living in Aberdeen, Pettit said.

The investigation is being handled by Tripp County Coroner Dr. Rick Wagner, Pettit said.
