A Hunter was trying to shoot a squirrel Saturday in the Town of Sanford, but he accidentally struck a fellow hunter instead.
Duane Wayman, 45, took aim at one squirrel with a .410-gauge shotgun, but failed to see another hunter who was standing in his line of fire, according to police.
Andy Patrick, 50, was struck by three pellets near his right eye, right side of his chest and the left shoulder, police said. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
