An El Paso Man drowned while he was abalone hunting in the Northern California coast, officials said. 67-year old Gerald McGuire was found in Tomales Bay on Tuesday.
McGuire was swimming toward a dive spot before he drowned. This is the sixth fatality tied to abalone hunting in Northern California, The Press Democrat reported.
